LAKELAND FLORA

EAU DE TOILETTE

lakeland flora

Enriching, warming, luscious, life-enhancing.  Soft, wild florals, freesia, mimosa, green leaves, a taste of pears and apricots, drifting on the calm, warm, hazy air of a summer afternoon.

Twelve botanicals, with extracts of sustainably harvested South Island native plants:  mānuka and kōwhai.

Our native plant extracts:  Mānuka oils and honey are well recognised for their powerful health-enhancing properties.  With its fragrant bright-white or pink-flushed flowers and distinctive dark-red centres, mānuka (kahikātoa or tea tree) enlivens the shores of the Queenstown lakes, and was traditionally used by Māori for healing and adornment, for perfuming hair and scenting skin.

The kōwhai, our national flower, changes dramatically with the seasons, budding almost overnight in the spring on leafless branches.  Considered by many to be our most beautiful tree, its profusion of golden blossom creates a showy summer spectacle along our lake shores.
