OVERHEARD
Tauranga Arts Festival 2020 has just re-published ‘Scents of a Landscape’ where our co-founder, Harry Jones, joins author and journalist, Geoff Chapple ONZM (founder of Te Araroa, the Aotearoa New Zealand long walk), and Laurence Fearnley (multi-award winning Aotearoa New Zealand novelist and writer) in a discussion. Join the original audience in listening to their wide-ranging and entertaining conversation:
Our South Island representative was sitting outside having a coffee in Frankton – and sharing the perfumes with a couple of friends – when a woman chanced to walk by. On seeing our perfumes on the table, she exclaimed ‘Oh, I have one of those – they’re the most beautiful perfumes!’

Penguin Books got in touch in late 2019 to tell us that Laurence Fearnley has named two of our perfumes – Lakeland Flora and High Country Tussock – as her favourites. Not one, but two!
And in Scented we’re delighted to feature personally among Laurence Fearnley’s acknowledgements. The novel’s a great lead-in to the fragrances of Aotearoa New Zealand – our specialty!
